I like JerkCity, who sent me a Christmas package with DICKLICKING on the front in big pixelated letters.
Fred Lapides operates GoodShit and I also like Fred.
Niagara Falls is mostly normal, or slightly tacky (like the Parkway Motel) or somewhat expensive. There's one street, Clifton Hill, which has one block near the American Falls (the other, less interesting waterfall at Niagara; the good one is on the Canadian side) that is full of neon and hundred foot high advertising screens and a wrestling museum and a couple of horror houses and a wax museum and some indoor amusement park whatnot and so on. It's like someone took a block of, say, not quite Vegas, say Atlantic City, and stuck it in an otherwise fairly standard tourist beauty spot. What baffles me though, is Niagara Falls is a big destination for newlyweds -- whose interest I would expect to be in their hotel rooms, not in wax museums and wrestling (Groundhog Day notwithstanding).
I not only like Fred Lapides, I adore him. He is the cat's meow.

Posted by: andrew on January 17, 2003 04:45 PMYes, that's the Round Lake on Highway 7. I have a bunch of photos from that trip still unposted.
