Atrivis
From Hypercube
As told by the ancient church of Atrivis
Long ago, the God Atrivis had reached a point in which he was fed up with all the ongoings in the mortal planes. The other Gods laughed at him since he kept to himself, and seemingly had no followers. Atrivis though, secretly was working on opening the Nazjin Gates. Beyond the gates, lying in wait, was Atrivis's true following, which he released into the world, thus beginning what would be known as the Nazjin Wars. It is rumoured that other evil gods were allied with him in this act and may support him still. However. such was the power of the good axis at this time that they were able to put aside difference and rally their mortals and themselves into unification. They fought against Atrivis and the hordes which spewed out of the Nazjin Gates. The war was not without its price though, as many great evils were allowed into the land. The followers of Atrivis, later named the Nazjin Horde, were sent back behind the gates and locked away.
Atrivis, not long after, began to rebuild his following, but this time in this world. One day soon he will open the gates again and let loose the Nazjin Horde. Atrivis spends his time scheming and creating new horrors for the world of mortals to face.
Atrivis, the God of Misery and Pain, despises all that is good and beneficial. His evil causes the ground he walks upon and the air around him to defile. All in which he touches, unless it is inherently evil, will hiss and destroy itself due to his vileness. Atrivis requires his followers to scorn all which is good and beneficial, especially all healing related spells. His non-spellcasters are, as with most gods, restricted from use of the highest magics. Each follower must maintain a hatred for the peace of the world and do anything to disrupt it. Surely there can be no benefit save to Atrivis from his followers, and surely the power he offers is worth any soul, including your own.
