Multiple characters ARE allowed. They may NOT be logged in at the same time or have ANY contact with each other. Do NOT pass gear between your characters.
Important commands: equipment, armor, attributes, score, practice.
Type CONSIDER <target> in order to get an idea if a mobile is within your level range or not. Type KILL <target> to attack them.
Remember to eat, drink, and rest when need be to keep your character in the best shape.
Read your Guide to Rehobaom's Legacy before asking questions. It might already be there.
When you have a question that's not answered in your guide, use the QUESTION/ASK channel to voice it.
Type Auto to get a list of automatic commands, like autogold, etc.
To buy a lot of one item at once, use: buy number*item. For example, to buy a dozen apples, you would type: buy 12*apple
Remember to read HELP RULES! It's short and simple. You're encouraged to stay in mud school until level 6.
When you die, your corpse is left where you die. It lasts 30 minutes of real time, and if you log out, it saves. So if you die and no one can help you right then, log out and come back later.
Please be considerate by not using all caps - it's considered yelling, and rude.
Even if you're not an adult, act like one, for the sanity of all of us.
Keep an eye on your HP as you fight, and FLEE when needed.
The 'wimpy' command will set you to automatically flee when you fall below 20% of your hit points. You can manually set your wimpy to be up to just below 50% of your hit points.
Directions are north, south, east, west, up, down, and may be abbreviated as n, s, e, w, u and d respectively.
Declaim must be in character. All other channels are out of character (but may be roleplayed on if you wish.)
Type CHANNELS to see a list of channels you have turned on or off. See help channels for more information.
The immortals may help you - if you are respectful and have a real problem.
Remember to practice and train - they will help your character grow. Read your guide or HELP TRAIN and HELP PRACTICE for more info.
Type LOOK and get familiar with your surroundings. You'll have to learn how to find your way sooner or later.
Harassment is NOT allowed in ANY form. Anyone who harasses another will be dealt with quickly, swiftly, and without warning.
Type WHO to see who is currently logged in.
Type INVENTORY (INV for short) to see what items you have that are currently not worn.
Those who follow the same god tend to be friendly and helpful to you. Use the INTONE channel to talk to them.
If you are a warrior or a cleric, you need a holy symbol in order to CAST (see HELP CAST for more info).
If you go away from your keyboard, please type AFK. You can add a message that will display in WHO instead of your normal title, like so: AFK is checking Three Mile Island for mutants
You can also customize your appearance in the WHO listing with the NAME command and the Title command. To change your title randomly, type: title .
