Character
Mapelias is the Sixth Generation avatar of Belekrom, god of healing, justice and defense. He is golden and vivid, larger than life, yet embodies heroism and mercy to those in greatest need.
Relationships
Mapelias is discreet about his origins, but diviners believe his father is Belekrom and his mother Amatet, therefore brother to Pafos. He is often seen in company of Galade and speaks of her in the most delicate terms. He trained under the Blademaster Metternacht.
Ethos
Worshippers of Belekrom, and Mapelias therefore, are held to the highest standards of honourable conduct. They are also expected to show mercy to the weak, and dispense justice to the cruel. He is also gentlemanly, refined and modest.
Weapon
Taranth is one of the first weapons to have been forged in the world. It was the old god Theriault's staff before he was killed by Eringarathe. Lynet managed to save it from destruction in the battle and thus gained much of Theriault's power.
