Character
Pafos is the Sixth Generation avatar of Amatet, the goddess of logic, uncertainty and nature.
He is the embodiment of magnetism, and refines reality with explosions of his essence.
Origin
When Amatet became pregnant with Pafos, she turned herself into a cloud, and stayed in the sky. She wanted the child born in reduced atmosphere, so that he would develop his shapeshifting powers quickly and in a natural environment. He did so well that when he was born, he seemed to evanesce directly into the void surrounding the planes. She completely lost sight of him for over a century. Then, one day, as she visited the Master of Winds, she sensed he was nearby. He had almost no consciousness, so well had he blended with the ether. It took another century of telepathic communications for her to teach him to assume solid form.
Ethos
Like Amatet, Pafos has no alignment restrictions. He prefers those who show initiative and creativity, and understand the patterns of nature. He is particularly interested in electromancy and beguiling magics.
Amatet's closest ties were with Pafos's father Vade. It remains to be seen how Pafos will deal with his father's avatar Ulcyk, who is the ancient son of Eringarathe and Atrivis.
Weapon
Pafos has Mistradis the Persuader, a golden whip that Astolia deceptively promised Kargin if he helped her overthrow Carillon.
