Little is known of the origin of Sere, goddess of secrets, deception, illusion and knowledge. Even her true form has been seen by few -- the goddess guards her intelligence jealously. She uses means both magical and mundane with equal facility to protect her interests.

Relationships
It is known that she has a certain affinity with the now vanished Ceremon, and generally was willing to support his interests as well. Once her son Imoiran was toppled from the throne of the underworld, there are none that she refused to deal with. However, because of Eringarathe's destruction of Ceremon, she refuses to allow her people to deal with Eringarathe's followers.
Ethics
Sere's worshippers can be found rubbing elbows with noble and dispossessed alike. They pervade all walks of society, switching between magic and physical methods with the ease of changing a coat. They can be found hired on missions ranging from the rescue of a princess to the assassination of a king.
They never miss a trick, and they never go unpaid.
Sixth Generation
At 4 o'clock am, the 19th day of the Month of Violet in the year 2406, the goddess Sere assigned rulership of her church to Kauri, Avatar of the Shadows. As is her custom, she did not comment beyond. Interestingly, Sere was the first to speak of the avatars; seemingly strange behaviour for the goddess of secrets.
Artifacts
Sere possesses Leam the Garrotter, a black weapon, perhaps a knife, perhaps a wire, said to be crafted of pure steath and treachery.
She had a set of artifact lenses from Aude, which were returned to Eringarathe by Nosocom.
