Character
Shetrevar is the creation and Sixth Generation avatar of Ghadis, god of madness, disease and despair. She is the embodiment of nightmares and takes explicit joy in cruelty.
Origin
Ghadis overpowered the goddess Naufana and stole part of her soul. He carried it in his cloudy fists and shaped it into a viciously exaggerated parody of Naufana with his own arbitrary violence. The creature, Shetrevar, made of Naufana's own being, is able to corrupt a fragment of Naufana's power and use it herself. She tortures innocents in their sleep, seduces the virtuous in their dreams, and sends images of vile acts to the righteous.
Ethos
Only the most depraved and degenerate can follow Shetrevar, though she constantly tries to tempt people of all ethical stripes into her realm.
Weapon
She carries Olth the Reaper, Damorgon's scythe. The dimension which Damorgon was exiled to by Lynet and Tyla, being one of lesser planes, could not take such a mighty weapon as Olth, and Damorgon had to be disarmed of it before the containment could take place.
Legend
When Shetrevar met Metternacht, he sparred with her, traded a pair of shoes for her head, and offered her advice. Then, Pafos came to her, curious about her nature, as she trailed nightmares through Fortress Bittermurk. She toyed with him superficially and he answered in kind. They faced off inconclusively for days. Their meeting left small but permanent marks on all lesser beings present.
On the 19th day of the Month of Orchid in the year 2409, Shetrevar indicated she was consuming the "innocent dreams" of Aerien Herit and leaving "experience".
