Tesseract was the original Rom 2.5 (and beyond) private source. It was founded in 1994 by Gabrielle Taylor and Jay Kesten on an AIX server at the University of Regina. Two years later it was re-launched as Rehobaom's Legacy, with new Gods and Classes but the same world.
